Reproduction of a doll originally made by Pierre F Jumeau,  Paris,  circa 1875. Marked 12.

Hand painted porcelain head, shoulder plate and arms pierced ears and ear rings. She is on a leather body. Her eyes are blue paperweight glass, the wig is strawberry blonde mohair. Her dress is made from golden peach dupioni silk. Her shoulder plate is decorated with the “Rochard Technique” of small prisms with tiny pictures imbedded in the porcelain plus a necklace of ruby stones.
